Andrew Nicholson, born on 1 August 1961 in Te Awamutu, New Zealand, and now based in Wiltshire, UK, is considered a true legend in the world of eventing. Having competed in six Olympic Games (selected for seven), Nicholson's illustrious career has left an indelible mark on the sport. Born and raised in Waikato, he moved to England in the 1980s to pursue his equestrian dreams, becoming one of the most successful and respected figures in eventing history.
